Our philosophy
The hospitality of a B&B in combination with the wonderful Italy
Vita nuova literally means “new life“. Twenty years ago we gave this name to the completely renovated house, which we used as our holiday the following years.
We have learned to appreciate Pianella as the ideal place for our holidays:
1. A fantastic climate all year round;
2. An environment with beautiful nature;
3. Close to the sea and close to the mountains;
4. Conveniently placed for day trips in the rest of Italy;
and as a bonus a very friendly population.
Add to that clean air, great cuisine at an affordable price and everyone will understand that we never wanted to leave again.
An important consideration in this respect has been the help we have had from our Italian friends who showed us around Abruzzo during our first years. As a result, instead of finding our way through a tourist booklet, we were soon able to enjoy all the things that made our lives here more than that of tourists in paradise.

Over the years we have had many friends and family come for a visit and we even rented out parts of our house. Everyone enjoyed what was mentioned above and they advised us to let more people in to enjoy our paradise.
We have followed the advice and decided to give new life to Casa Vita Nuova by opening it up to everyone who wants to be more than just a tourist and fully experience paradise in Abruzzo.

We have completely redesigned and expanded the complex. Besides the renovation of the guesthouse, a new swimming pool has been constructed with a pool house with two extra rooms and bathrooms. This is not the end of the story: a sauna has been added and we have also made one of the rooms in the pool house suitable for wheelchair users.
We have also provided a parking space for a mobile home or caravan.
We would like everyone to come enjoy this paradise.

Pool & Garden
Because we enjoy a fantastic climate all year round, you can use the pool from May to mid-October. We are considering installing an extra heater so that we can extend the swimming season by a few months.
Wheelchair
Are you looking for a holiday home suitable for wheelchair users? Then you have just found your ideal holiday home.
SAUNA
After a wonderful day out to go into our sauna and after take a good dip in the pool.
Food Facility
Do we serve breakfast or do you make it yourself? Do we cook for you, do you cook for yourself or will you enjoy delicious food in a local restaurant? The choice is yours!
